CYC seeks to offer consistent opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and love through faith conversations, community engagement, service, leadership projects, games, and more. The Youth Leadership Team (YLT) consists of 8th-12th graders who lead projects designed to serve the community and foster connections. Rahab’s Rope is a place that provides food, shelter, and protection; a place of education and training; and a place where the whole person is ministered to spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and financially. It is a place of hope, a place of transformed lives. Ultimately, we exist to provide alternatives to sex work and restore hope and purpose to the lives of women and children in India. Since our founding in 2004, our immediate and most all –encompassing focus has been on the victims of sex trafficking in India by providing aftercare housing. We have added a prevention program for children and teenage girls as well as direct intervention in red light areas. These projects have different objectives but are all in line with our vision and mission and the desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this world. If you are curious as to why we do what we do, the answer is simple: Jesus. In 2004, God began to weave Rahab’s Rope together, and it is our fervent desire and prayer that every step of the process, every success, every life impacted reflects back to Him. We will be providing hand made items for sale from Rahab’s Rope.
